Was ist ein Schriftstellerhotel ohne Schriftsteller? Ein Stift ohne Tinte?<\/h3>\n

Die siebenundzwanzig Geschichten auf dieser Seite bilden das Herzst\u00fcck eines Projekts, das w\u00e4hrend des langen Lockdowns im Winter 2020-21 begann, mit dem Arbeitstitel \u201eUnterkunft im Schriftstellerhotel\u201c. Buchhandlungen waren monatelang geschlossen, und f\u00fcr die Autoren gab es keine Touren, keine Lesungen, keine Signierstunden, keinen nationalen Buchball, keine live Preisverleihungen\u2026 Die Autoren blieben dem Ambassade Hotel fern, und wir haben sie vermisst. Schlie\u00dflich, was ist ein Schriftstellerhotel ohne Schriftsteller? Ein Stift ohne Tinte? So entstand die Idee, einen Autor pro Woche \u00fcber einen Zeitraum von sechs Monaten einzuladen, im Ambassade Hotel zu \u00fcbernachten und ihr Schreibleben zu dieser Zeit zu beschreiben.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n\n \n

Im Zeitraum von Mai bis November 2021 ver\u00f6ffentlichte die Zeitung Het Parool<\/em> die Writers\u2019 Hotel-Kolumnen in ihrer w\u00f6chentlichen Kunstsektion. Die siebenundzwanzig Writers\u2019 Hotel-Kolumnen wurden ins Englische \u00fcbersetzt und als Buch mit dem Titel The best place for you to stay is ultimately a book.<\/em> ver\u00f6ffentlicht. Es wurde von unserem eigenen Verlag Samsara Books als Werbegeschenk herausgegeben und ist nicht im Buchhandel erh\u00e4ltlich. Sie sind jedoch herzlich eingeladen, unten alle siebenundzwanzig Kolumnen auf Englisch zu lesen.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n\n\n \n
