Les vingt-sept histoires de cette page forment le c\u0153ur d\u2019un projet lanc\u00e9 pendant le long confinement de l\u2019hiver 2020-21, sous le titre provisoire Sheltering in the Writers\u2019 Hotel. Les librairies \u00e9taient ferm\u00e9es depuis des mois et pour les auteurs, il n\u2019y avait pas de tourn\u00e9es, pas de lectures, pas de d\u00e9dicaces, pas de Bal du Livre national, pas de c\u00e9r\u00e9monies de remise de prix en direct\u2026 Les \u00e9crivains \u00e9taient absents de l\u2019Ambassade Hotel et ils nous manquaient. Apr\u00e8s tout, qu\u2019est-ce qu\u2019un h\u00f4tel des \u00e9crivains sans \u00e9crivains ? Un stylo sans encre ? C\u2019est ainsi qu\u2019est n\u00e9e l\u2019id\u00e9e d\u2019inviter un auteur chaque semaine pendant six mois \u00e0 s\u00e9journer \u00e0 l\u2019Ambassade Hotel et \u00e0 d\u00e9crire sa vie d\u2019\u00e9crivain \u00e0 ce moment-l\u00e0.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n\n \n

Les vingt-sept chroniques Writers\u2019 Hotel ont \u00e9t\u00e9 traduites en anglais et publi\u00e9es sous forme de livre intitul\u00e9 The best place for you to stay is ultimately a book.<\/em> Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9 par notre propre maison d\u2019\u00e9dition Samsara Books comme cadeau promotionnel et n\u2019est pas en vente dans les librairies.
